The Bride Keeps Her Cool

The Background

A lavish wedding in Sydney’s north-west called for discrete temporary air conditioning, power distribution, power generation and climate control.

The Situation

The wedding was held on a private estate in a very large marquee. The hundreds of guests gave the marquee a high heat load as it was, but the weather added to it as temperatures soared well past 30 degrees.

Adding to the challenge was the fact that the location was tight and extra focus had to be placed on the discrete yet effective placement of equipment.

The Solution

Using their expertise in air conditioning temporary structures the Active Air team specified the perfect solution based on available power, structure size, internal layout and heat load. They used:

• 113 kW rental packaged unit air conditioner
• 165 kVA rental generator
• Power distribution
• Wall and ceiling ducting

With such a tight space the air conditioner was craned in and gently placed on the nearby tennis court.

The Results

Thanks to the Active Air team the bride blushing with happiness rather than heat exhaustion.

The guests were kept comfortable due to Active Air’s expertise and thanks to their focus on discrete placement, none of the guests heard or saw the equipment that was responsible.
